market bounty.

It's a rare thing when Jules and I get up early on a Saturday, but when we do, we always do something fun like exploring a part of the city that we've never been to.  I've lived in San Francisco for 12 years, and I'd never been to the Alemany Farmers Market, which is located just off of the 280 freeway about ten minutes from my apartment.  This is more of a locals' market than the Ferry Building Farmers Market, so the prices are significantly less, but most of the vendors are exactly the same.  We bought the above produce, plus a large bottle of fresh apple juice and two jars of honey, for about $40.  My organic romanesco was $3, bunches of organic greens were 3 for $5, and that large pile of Jerusalem artichokes was just $2!

Now what am I going to do with all of this amazing produce?
